Kuwait Denies Unverified Story Trump Posted

Kuwait has denied a report that President Donald Trump posted on Facebook this week which claimed that the country had instituted a travel ban on individuals from Muslim-majority countries, similar to an executive order Trump signed. Trump posted a link to a story about Kuwait’s non-existent ban with the caption, “Smart!” The country “categorically denies these claims and affirms that these reported nationalities ... have big communities in Kuwait and enjoy full rights,” a government spokesman told state media. The Facebook post on Trump’s page has 218,000 likes and 68,000 shares.
