Applications and renewals for High Occupancy Toll (HOT) lane permits on the QEW will be accepted until May 31.
Permit holders wishing to renew, but who have already renewed twice, will have to re-enter the application draw.
The HOT lanes stretch 16.5 kilometres in both directions of the QEW from Trafalgar Road in Oakville to Guelph Line in Burlington.
Vehicles with two or more occupants, or green licence plates, can use the lanes for free, while those with just a driver can take advantage of the lanes by purchasing a permit.
Permits cost $180 and are renewable for a maximum of two terms before drivers have to re-enter the application draw.
Applications are accepted each February, May, August and November and can be submitted at Ontario.ca/HOTLanes.
Up to 1,000 permits are made available for each three-month term.
Always tell someone how you feel because opportunities are lost in the blink of an eye but regret can last a lifetime.
