Trump Knocks ‘Weak’ Sessions for Not Investigating Clinton Emails

President Trump began his day Tuesday with a series of tweets expressing open hostility toward his own attorney general. “Attorney General Jeff Sessions has taken a VERY weak position on Hillary Clinton crimes (where are E-mails & DNC server) & Intel leakers!” Trump wrote. “Ukrainian efforts to sabotage Trump campaign—‘quietly working to boost Clinton.’ So where is the investigation A.G. @seanhannity.” According to a report from the Associated Press, Trump has even spoken with advisers about firing Sessions. Just a day earlier, Trump attacked a “beleaguered” Sessions for failing to look into Clinton’s emails from her private server. Last week the commander-in-chief told The New York Times that he would not have even appointed Sessions had he known he would recuse himself from the Russia probe. Trump also cheered son-in-law/adviser Jared Kushner for his public denial of election collusion with Russian officials and suggested another family member will be targeted next. “Jared Kushner did very well yesterday in proving he did not collude with the Russians. Witch Hunt. Next up, 11 year old Barron Trump!”
