Erwin Sniedzins doesn't trust traditional universities.

So when the Toronto business management consultant found one offering a master's degree requiring no studying, exams, or academic work — for just $8,100 — Sniedzins thought it was a school sharing his unconventional approach to education.

"I don't necessarily like to pay $30,000 to get a master's when I feel I already have the knowledge," Sniedzins said in an interview with CBC Toronto.

He said the degree issued by Kings Lake University, which he found by searching the internet, is based on his previous life experience and professional accomplishments.
Sniedzins is president and CEO of Mount Knowledge, an educational software company. In his LinkedIn profile, he is described as an "Artificial Intelligence Gamification Patent Inventor, Key Note Speaker, Professor, Author."
Sniedzins also has political aspirations. He ran for mayor in 2014, in a race won by John Tory, and received 104 votes.

he is an arse...in search of a useless piece of paper.  he has the best education there is and he does not need anything but his experience to take him forward.  experience is far far far better than school.

I have been to university..I know.  there are certain departments of university that are worthwhile but they are in the sciences, including computers..and business particularly accounting.  but thats it.  a

ll the humanities are crap.  best to stay away.  and again..hands on learning beats all other types of learning..direct experience in the trade/profession

SerenaThis batting performance by the West Indies in the second innings blew me away. I kept closing my eyes and then rubbing and opening them again and sat transfixed as I watch that unbelievable partnership between John Campbell and Shai Hope. What a magnificent performance by these two! It just goes to show that patience, determination and effort can go a long way to improve the performances of the West Indies team.
