We’ve said it before and we’ll say it again — the truth about Kaepernick lies somewhere in the middle. If the 29-year-old could throw the ball like Tom Brady and Aaron Rodgers, he would have been signed a long time ago. However, teams don’t feel he is a good enough player to overlook the added media attention he would bring. That means both football reasons and political reasons are a factor.

Kap is not out for football reasons.  Kap has a better record and recent form better than all but about  Rodgers and Brady in the NFL.
