Herm Edwards thinks Eli Manning is a good fit for Jacksonville if New York wants to seek out a new QB in the draft.

the Jags do not want Eli. I cant see Marrone wanting Eli.
Marrone is a very, very good HC..a fact he demonstrated in Buffalo before he quit, Doug Whaley kept giving him players he found not up to it and so he quit. but of course Whaley is the one who hired Marrone in the first place
but Marrone made it clear that he would be sticking with Borttles in Jax and by now we can see he was right. after a poor start Borttles has settled down into the most consistent quarterbacking in his career so far. and Jax is winning, heading straight to the play offs. there is simply no way in hell Marron is going to change now for Eli. and Coughlin will not go against Marrone..period

Eli to Jax aint happening. Eli is 37. Bortles is late twenties at oldest and setting down. it would be the most incompetent of developments if Jax traded for Eli
best place for Eli is Denver.
all the QB's Denver has are no good at all. they wont be in the league in another year or 2. conceivably Eli could spend the next 2-3 years there and do them good. there is no one to displace as QB
that wont be the case in Houston for sure where there is an incumbent. Eli would be able to help them this year but how much? and how much would Eli cost for that help?
its 9 games already into the season and all the Texans top players are injured..for the season and out. how far could they go realistically even if Watson had not got injured.
so Eli would get them to the play offs? might! but how far? and what to do next year when Watson comes back..Eli as back up?
its best the Texans forget this year, set up the next year to be the one..focus on that.
there is no place for Eli save Denver...or Arizona. and Arizona has no option but to blow up that team after this season..which means a rebuild. this season is over for them. they do not need Eli at all unless they plan on making a crazy run for a play offs before they blow it up
Denver for Eli..one way ticket. and pay no mind to Herm. chats nonsense all too often that guy. he has a job to do..fill the air waves with hot steam
