what I like is the african part of it..the reference to the African elites. that is what I have been saying all the time. I never knew of that French book but its subject matter is what I have worked out on my own

the african elites are the problem. what african needs are social revolution but there is no development that has produced a working class large and conscious enough to pull that off in most african countries

but there are other forms of revolutionary activity that is possible that can lead to social change of a democratic nature. to advance the social situation.

Chinese investment in Africa is a positive despite all apparent risks. it is taking situation forward materially, building up infrastructure, employment industries etc. which will eventually lead to national political and economic challenges in many countries of the elites by the working classes. this has already been developing in RSA as we can see since the early days of Mandella.

that is the issue,,the development of challenge to the african elites from social forces within african nations
