THEY LEAVE OUT THE MOST CRUCIAL FACTOR IN THE COSTING...INTERNATIONAL BANKERS AND THE POWER OF THE IOC..

The IOC has been more powerful than governments..or more accurate the governments that have been awarded HOST of Olympics have all been puppets and in thrall to international bankers.

what they do is to force countries to build as extravagantly as possible, as expensively as possible, and to take out massive loans from the international bankers to finance the projects. these loans go on the public tab. that's right on the national debt to be paid for out of taxes on the people.

all the worlds huge sporting events have been calibrated that way..massive public loans/debt to build huge white elephants.. for private banker profits...AT THE EXPENSE OF THE ORDINARY PEOPLE OF THE WORLD

that is the game all these years..utter rip off and exploitation of the peoples of the world. and the people unaware they are being horribly exploited love these events and look forward to them.

now the game is coming to an end for many reasons..because the sheeeeeer waste of resources is catching up with the world. there is no more money to be ripped off.
putting up buildings at billions of dollars to be used once is now out of the question everywhere as infrastructure collapse and there is no money for urban renewal and infrastructure repair and expansion.

people are starving to pay off national debts everywhere..AND ALL THE NATIONAL DEBTS HAVE BEEN ACCRUED IN THIS SAME EXPLOITATIVE, ILLEGAL AND CRIMINAL MANNER AND OWED TO THE INTERNATIONAL BANKERS...WHO FOR PROFIT ARE BEHIND ALL THE TROUBLE ON PLANET EARTH

THE BANKERS DON'T CARE! THE WASTE IS INCREDIBLE. THEY DELIBERATELY CAUSE THE BUILDING/CONSTRUCTION EVERYWHERE TO BE QUICKLY USELESS SO MORE CAN BE BUILT AT DEBT AND INTEREST

what they are most adamant about is that none of the expenditure go to the benefit of the people, to improve their existential conditions.

the people must remain beast of burden, a lumpen available only for exploitation, capable only of serving the requirements of the rich...most important totally incapable of social revolution

of course..the interest on debt angle is why the IOC works only with governments in staging the olympics. it is a government to IOC thing.

it is the same with FIFA..and all big global sporting NGO's

it is why the ICC behaves as it does..even doh the ICC is one of the smaller global sports NGO that does not work with government directly..likeFIFA and the IOC. but still they have power over the governments of cricket countries. they can make them dance to their tune under the rubric 'no politics in sports'

that is another sweet one indeed...for the very existence of these global sports NGOs represents massive politics in sports. it could not be otherwise. what it boils down to is their politics in sports is fine..but not yours

this is why Skameron remains in place building up the west indies cricket bureaucracy into a murderously exploitative entity, inconsistent with the best interest of west indies cricket... and no west indian government can do anything in the regional/national interest of the west indian game..even if they wanted to... and they don't!

the west indian governments would not be able to interfere because the ICC is more powerful than them..and what Skameron is doing in the west indies is exactly what the ICC wants. if the west indian governments got serious the ICC would talk to the americans and Caricom would all come under pressure from the British/USA.

you see that is the real business model of international sports..not the clap trap in the article in the link above.

and to try to get rid of Skameron would be to challenge that business model and they wont allow any such challenge to succeed.. for Caricom to proceed would precipitate a sure and certain flow of reaction against the region from the bankers who control all of the western governments/countries

there would be talk of sanctions..and actual sanctions if Caricom went ahead with the social reform of the cricket. they would be called socialist and anti democratic.

they would have to stop because the americans/british..would make life hard in the region..harder than it already is.

they would have to stop or decide to go all the way and revolutionize the region socially with all the dangers in that.

all of this can flow from simply attempting to clean up the cricket..for cleaning up the cricket attacks the business model of the west. which is to have a certain flow of prescribed business activity going off of which interest can be creamed. Interest is the name of the game...debt the instrument

that is why Skameron walks all over the west indies like he is the regional lord and master. which is why he behaves as if he is president of the west indies. Skameron is in fact President of the west indies. Skameron is more powerful in many ways than any elected leader in the region..because of who he represents

its too costly because the make it so deliberately..so they can charge interest.
