If Leonard leaves Gasol indicates he wont be back. so! no REPEAT for the Raps..
the only way the Raps can repeat is for Leonard/Gasol to return and for Masai to strengthen the team with an above average free agent at guard or centre

but Leonard wont be back and all dominoes fall dong. Gasol goes elsewhere.. or goes home to Spain in retirement.

and if both leave the Raptors are back to a square which would not be 1 but not tops either..maybe above average..unless Masai works the free agent market to bring in one of the guns who fits the Toronto.

but which one would that be? or 2 for the Raps would have at least 2 holes to fill if Leonard leaves and he will leave..in which case were I the Raps I would rebuild.

the Raps would have Siakam, Van Vleet, Anunoby, Ibaka, Powell, Danny Green..and the last 2 years of Kyle Lowery. needs: a center, forward and guard. would Masai play in the free agent market to fill those holes..or will he build from scratch?

and what about Masai himself? mission accomplished would he want to stay? and again mission accomplished would the raps not let him go where if he wants to leave..get another GM and start again?
