Someone donated an old ct scan back in 2016. An obsolete model. No parts available anymore. They cldd as I’m it cost $90M. A new one is much less. But they stored it in a house for more than 2 years paying more than $15M per month in rent and other costs. Now this obsolete equipment is at the Diamond Medical Warehouse which was built by the ppp, the largest and most modern public medical warehouse in CARICOM. But this warehouse is presently totally filled. Here is the kicker - more than 60% of the space is occupied by expired meds and medical supplies, or by obsolete or useless meds, medical supplies or equipment. The new PPP government trying to clean it up now. I will not say here, leaving a Minister Anthony to day it tomorrow how much meds they bought and must be discarded because they have expired. Between 2015 and now it is many billions dollars. This is Granger’s APNU/AFC legacy - wastefulness, corruption, incompetence and disinterest. Any one of these is an indictment. Minister Robeson Benn needs to sit down with police Commissioner, his deputies and Commissioners of all divisions and make it clear that the police must not be even perceived as operating in a racist manner. For example, if they are going to arrest people who form crowds then they must do so uniformly...not selectively with only Indians being targeted.
