Peshawar—Two children were killed and two others including a woman and a child injured in a blast caused by gas leakage here on early Wednesday morning. According to police, due to gas leakage from supply line blast occurred in a house located at Canal Road in Afridiabad area of Pushtakhara, Peshawar.

Two children sleeping in the room were killed as a result of blast while their mother and a brother sustained injuries. The injured were rushed to hospital for treatment. Meanwhile, two children were injured when roof of a house owned by Malik Adnan and located in Shaheen Muslim Town area of Peshawar collapsed. The relatives and rescue teams dug out the injured.
