I suppose its not impossibe but it is unlikely.


the catholic church is an abomination that must be excised from power in human reality, set up forever as example of the evil that can develop in human society.


however  Spong is not validating Hindu-ism here.  he seems merely using what appears to be an existential principle in Hindu-ism to lead christianity on a different and more healthy path.


but Spong has made no other claims for the Hindu religion.  he does not claim that it is wholly or in part useful or useless.  he is not judgemental at all.  in fact that if any religion is worthwhile it needs no defence at all. it must stand on its principles and if it remains upright in the crucible of life it proves its efficacy.

Spong goes much further and establishes that no religion made and organised by men is the way forward, the way to god.  and that the idea that they are is jackass, demeaning of any god.


god is universal, period, total... and outside the limited conception of any religion at all.  religion is the problem and we should eliminate them and proceed without their restrictions.

with so respect to you and your feelings what I know of the Hindu religion makes it overall as bad as the rest.  the hindu religion attenuates no chauvinism on the part of its adherents.  as your attitude implies here it is prideful and as centric as the others on the idea that Hindu is best..better than the rest... and those who do not believe are infidels worthy of death.


the hindu atrocities frequently unleashed in India against Indian Muslims attests to this fact. by that Hindu proves it is not a forgiving religion but as eye for an eye as the rest.

wasnt it when a whole lot of Hindus set upon muslims and wiped out tons of them on some religious incitement or the other?

not all hindus were involved but the spirit and organization driving that event was religious.


look here man! I consider religion...ALL OF THEM.. to be the single most destructive development in all of human history.

look here Kwami..you must prove that the Hindu religion is better, universal, forgiving, loving, protective of all human beings, produces those under its guidance to be free of racism, prejudice of any sort, democratic of nature, standing on the side of the freedom and development of all peoples..

yu have to prove that the Hindu religion is a positive driving force in the world.

but you cant.  one look at India, the home of Hindu-ism disproves all of that. Indian behavior in the world disproves all positive claim for that religion. 

and it is the same with all of them..all religion!

there is enuff for all in the world..many many, times over.  we are beset by these suffocating minority interests of church, state and rich elites, that have brought humanity to its knees.  our suffering is systematic not actual need to suffer.  we suffer to save systems that in turn maintain the power and riches of established minorities.


there is no god of the religions.  if there is a god it is one for all, subject to no religious affiliation, bound by no freakin' church limitation.  no one is bound to pay any attention to  what any kiss-mih-arse church says.

if there is life after death no religion would have any control of access to it, from up here in the world. wat god in its right mind would give such control to those groups of thieves, liars despoilers of humanity?

if there is life after death one must only be born to have access to it. it would be a product of nature and as such natural and accessible to all.

all religion is boo.  they have collectively done so much damage to the human species that humanity... to cleanse and reclaim itself... must rise up and burn the abominations to the ground, arrest all priests and popes, investigate them  and prove their crimes and them execute them all.

the religious group is the one section of society for which I have no sympathy at all.  justice yes, full justice to prove or disprove guilt for their crimes against humanity.  and once proven the full face of the guillotine for all of them.

the crimes of the religions through the ages cry out for justice so vast they have been.  it is time to get rid of the priest.  it is either we succeed in ending religions or humanity immolates itself. 

the human choice is clear: come into truth and life or die

all eastern religions be it buddaism taoism jainism zenism or hinduism do not go and proslythise or try to convert like islam and christians , usually with a sword or the gun  and if you can not comphrend this then I cannot convince you and I am wasting my time
