City council workers protest non-payment of salaries

Workers from the City council’s solid waste department are protesting the non-payment of their salary for the month of June.
Allis Brant, who is attached to the solid department, says her family is significantly affected by this ongoing issue.
Navindra Singh, who also works in the solid waste department, says he is now unable to fulfill his financial obligations.
City Mayor, Hamilton green met with the workers and urged them to remain calm.
He said efforts are being made to fix the problem.
