secession, driven by the same causes more extreme today than ever due to the ripening of the problem, preceded Obama..and will outlast him.. ever if we do see some separations during his last term.
it is a global issue due to the cause itself being global. there is secessionist drives even in China, where the people in many parts of china, stifled by centralized bureaucratic control, would like to shake off the government.
the separatist drives around the world is real, serious an inextricably bound up with human survival.
the issue is clear: get local control over life, or get enslaved and killed-off by the centralized power in the capital, controlled by by globalised financial forces

I think that I can understand why people are mad to the point of wanting to secede. Obama's change has not taken place as far as I can tell. However, between him and Romney, I think he is less likely to push for another huge war (but I have no certainty . With that being said, I hope that the issue will be addressed because this election has shown a division in the country. I don't know if it was like this in 2008 but wanting to secede that much is something notable.
