Larry Hagman, who played notorious 'Dallas' villain, dies at 81

Larry Hagman, who television viewers loved to hate as greedy, scheming J.R. Ewing in the hit show “Dallas,” died Friday in the city of the same name. He was 81.

Barbara Eden, who starred with Larry Hagman, in the mid-1960s sitcom "I Dream of Jeannie," has released a statement, following the death on Friday of her co-star.
"I still cannot completely express the shock and impact from the news that Larry Hagman has passed," Barbara wrote in a statement, posted on her Facebook account, late Friday night. "I can still remember, that first day on Zuma Beach with him, in the frigid cold. From that day for five more years, Larry was the center of so many fun, wild, shocking... and in retrospect, memorable moments that will remain in my heart forever."
