Why is it that whenever there is something critical about Arabs posted here you quickly turn it around to equate it with India?
The great Arab leader Saladin who defeated the crusaders must be turning in his grave seeing how the Arabs has now submitted to the feet of the west and the zionists .
What the crusaders couldnt achieve on the battlefield... victory, is just handed to them by these corrupt puppet Arab leaders leaders .

Wow.  Some very forthright observations from that Arab scholar.  One thing he alluded to, but never mentioned explicitly was Darwin's concept of evolution as it pertains to both biological and social evolution.  A lot people misinterpret Darwin's concept of evolution to be "survival of the fittest" or "only the strong wins and the weak are consigned to the dustbin of history".  Instead, Darwin theorized that what determines success on both the biological and social spheres is "adaptability".  The species that adapts the best to it's geographical and social surroundings is the one that survives.  And this is what the cleric was alluding to when he says that present day Arabs are backwards because they do not subscribe to the idea that their civilization must change.
