A new report suggests Canadians have a harder time getting rapid access to their doctors, especially outside of working hours, than people in a group of similar countries.
The report shows Canadians are least likely to be able to get a same-day or next-day medical appointment than residents of countries like Britain, the Netherlands, Norway, New Zealand and the United States.
And Canadians are among the least likely to be able to get a house call from their doctor.
Always tell someone how you feel because opportunities are lost in the blink of an eye but regret can last a lifetime.

don't get me started on this topic.....i get most annoyed with our family doctor and this after hours care
we had to sign a letter for him that he is our doctor
they have some after hours service -
mon to thursday - 5-7 are for walk ins
sat - 10-1 for walk in
any time beyond that if you absolutely need to see a doctor.....we have to go to the emerg - NO WALKIN!!
cause if we do go to a walkin then our doctor actually gets charged!!
but who wants to go sit for 7-8 hrs at the emerg for ..... let's say.....a bad stomach flu???
