you are claiming that Indo leadership is more trustworthy for black people...they shud try Indo leadership by supporting such leadership at the polls.
be serious kwami! I grew up with Indians and there is no need for afros in trinidad to trust Indos as leaders. there is much ethnic difficulty between ordinary afros and indos. but by and large there is much interpenetration of the 2 groups at the lower end of the society.
its another story up at the top end..like Bhoe Tewarie as president of the University at st augustine setting up indo students while putting down afros...like Panday who as never a man who favoured afros..or the general indian leadership who have been openly racist over the years.

those people are no fools you know. they may be poor and low down but they have some level by which they operate that has kept them alive all along. they are well aware of all you say.
but they know the political reality of the world, of racism, having lived it for centuries now. they know who and wat to take seriously. and they know that Kamla is definitely not to be taken seriously. she is a far less substantial politician than even Panday..and that the reality in the world is that people like Kamla, has no real power to change their reality..none at all..unless she is willing to go against the white power in the world, marshall up the people to work in their own best interest, and that of the nation. and to protect her government while she takes back the national power from the forriner.
that is policy fraught with danger for her and the people but has a chance of succeeding only if the people are marshalled, collectivised, told the truth and given a square deal. but Kamla wont do that...neither will any of the political class that leads trinidad and tobago...all of them regardless of party or ethnicity.
AND IF THEY DO NOT DO THAT THEY CANT DO ANYTHING FOR THE PEOPLE YOU SEE. THE FORRIN POWER DIRECTS THEM TO SHUT THE PEOPLE DOWN, DOWN-PRESS THEM, CUT ALL THEIR SOCIAL PROGRAMS, NOT TO SPEND ANY OF THE OIL MONEY ON SOCIAL PROGRAMS, TO BUILD UP HUGE GOVERNMENT DEBT TO BLEED THE PEOPLE. I have no respect for any west indian politician because I know what they are. all of them indo.. afro... white... mixed.. all are the same.

WHETHER THE PNM IS IN POWER OR NOT..THAT THEY WILL LIKELY LOSE IF THEY VOTE IN THE INDOS.
