Hmm... the English language media is doing whatever it can to portray the Afrikaners (Dutch) as the bad boys in South Africa, while painting the British whites as "civil rights champions".
However, the truth is that apartheid was invented by the English speaking whites, who just used the illiterate and the mostly rural living Afrikaners to implement it. 90% of the wealth in post-1994 South Africa was controlled by the Anglos, despite forming just 4% of the total population (one-third of the white population).
Once ANC won the 1994 elections, most of the Anglos packed up their bags to UK and Australia. But the Afrikaners have nowhere to go and many now live in slums.

I am sure much of that is true man! but what concerns me is the ANC itself and how it has morphed into oppressor.
the solution to poverty for all ordinary people is revolutionary change that places the stage of the day in the hands of the people to deploy in the interest of all.
that is the answer, the only positive one the stage demands. only the people in democratic movement can bring out that positive state of affairs
that is our test of existential worthiness. we revolutionise society or humanity goes extinct by the atrocious activity and results of capitalism on the human body and on the human environment
