TORONTO - A Toronto doctor has been charged with sexually assaulting a girl during a medical examination.

Police, who began investigating at the beginning of March, allege a sexual assault took place during an exam in February.

Arturo Sanchez, 78, of Toronto, was arrested and charged on Thursday with sexual assault, sexual exploitation and sexual interference.

Sanchez has a doctor’s office at 474 College Street, suite 403.

He will appear in court at Old City Hall on May 9.

Police believe there may be more victims and are asking the public to volunteer any information at 416-808-1400, Crime Stoppers anonymously at 416-222-TIPS (8477) or online at www.222tips.com .
