The superstar has been invited to the international film festival where some his most famous films will be screened

Amitabh Bachchan’s popularity in the international film circuit is on the rise and his much awaited Hollywood film, The Great Gatsby is likely to just propel it further. The veteran superstar has been invited by the Melbourne International Film Festival to be a part of the event where a retrospective of his most famous films will be held.

The superstar confirmed it on his blog, “There is the Melbourne Film festival, where they do a retrospective of mine and give me honour. Then I travel back to Bhopal in a few to complete Satyagraha, to finish by the end of the month of April and then immediately set off for New York, to be with The Great Gatsby and its premier on the 1st of May.”

But Bachchan fans need not worry if they feel their favourite star is being too tough on himself. As promised, Big B will take some time off from his hectic schedule soon!
