Beethoven is one of the many talented musicians I know. He is used all around the world as an example in many scenarios. I think we should all celebrate this cultural man.

Absolutely. Beethoven was an incredible musician and I can only imagine what sort of dedication it takes to achieve that level of greatness. Truly inspiring, even if you are not into "classical music" you can apply that idea of devoting yourself to a craft and you will go very far, even more so if you have a true love for what you do.

It is made ever more remarkable when you consider that he was deaf. It truly is one of the most interesting facts out there that I have come across, and really speaks to his genius and his abilities. It is amazing how it is still applicable today and is highly regarded and studied and performed on all levels. I have nothing wring with celebrating a day like this which honors a great man.

Despite his condition, brought about by disease, Beethoven has long before that written great music. It is such a shame that he has to suffer deafness and even suffered through abdominal pains. He had even contemplated ending his life because of this pains from his diseases. Although his death was a tragic one, liver disease, he has already left a great legacy on this world which will never be forgotten.
