Americans are basically cavemen and that is why Baseball , golf and Hockey is popular . When they realise that a cricket bat would make a much  more effective weapon than a baseball bat , a golf club or a hockey stick then I'm sure that cricket will take root

IF they can change it up and rename it as their own !!
Girls Rounders became Baseball
English Rugby became American Football
Canada invention became Basketball

what should Cricket be renamed ?
