Undameister,

I am flabbergasted as he is far from the end of his abilities.

However, if you know my posts, you will know that I have insisted that the likes of Pietersen, Trott, Lumb, Keiswetter, Dernbach, Ballance etc should not have played for England for two key reasons.

Firstly apartheid falls and they flock here with our system allowing it to happen. Had apartheid not fallen, all of these guys would be in South Africa enjoying their ill gains. Pietersen mother may have been born here but what has she contributed to this country to have any claim?

Players like Strauss and Prior are also Saffers but came here very young so they have been through our Education and sporting systems through the age groups so they have a better appreciation for us, our culture and loyalties.

How could you be loyal or feel that tingling when you don the England shirt if you have not got a sense of value for us? How can you be loyal to us? Just as an example, just 18 months before making his test debut against the Aussies at the Oval,  Trott was celebrating South Africa's victory against us!!!! Now are we saying he is Red White and Blue overnight?

Now there are exceptions where there is a marriage or asylum cases and I am sure there are a few other exceptions.

That said, our ridiculous rules allow it and Pietersen has been turning out for us and I have enjoyed his time with the team. He made a fantastic start in South Africa and continued until a few years ago, 2009 ish, when he became quite inconsistent and seemed to have been at the centre, if not the perpetrator, of internal conflicts.

I thank him for his service and wish him well and as a lover of cricket I will follow his career.

I await the reasons why he has been overlooked. On form, I see no real reason. I think the ECB has made a mistake.

Go well KP.

That's reminds me of my friend.  He was born in England and his parents are English, and he's lived in Australia since he was 10.  I think he's spent more of his life in Australia than he has in England, but I've never seen a more die hard England fan IRL than him.

re: Pietersen, at least in cricket terms he still has a few good years left, so it's a shame he seems to have been given the boot. Although there's no way we can know how long this will last.  An unexpected series loss for England and things may change again. If they start winning, he probably won't come back and England won't look back.

This is super retarded.
I mean KP in limited overs side is an asset. He could still change game on it's head. He helped England win their sole T20 WC. He played the innings of his life in Mumbai, facilitating their series win in India.

There are people to be kicked out before KP if it's based on performance.

Ethics my arse, though. I mean seriously? To kick him out just like that because  he's ruffled a few feathers?

England's  history is replete with thievery . They will steal whatever it takes for the  Glory of the  union joke.'
Your celebrated long  distance runner in the Olympics was stolen from Africa .
In the height of apartheid you allowed  the South African runner Zola Budd to represent Britain in the Olympics    and right after  the  games she went back to South Africa
A country with no shame  but I don't blame the athletes or Peterson . Peterson happens to be my favorite stolen cricketer
The whole country is built  on stuff stolen from abroad . There is nothing in the British museum that is British.
If all the immigrants should leave Britain, the economy would collapse .

This ain't the apt time to drop KP,he has been such a big asset to the team.He has had the experience to be the stronghold of the team and can single handedly turn matches on it head.Sad,that the ECB has lost faith in him. It's time they revert their decision.

If KP was axed due to non-performance (and no one in their right mind believes so)  ;) ..... then quite a few of the others should be let go !!!!  :-[

Incidentally, KP's last T20 innings for England was on 27 Feb 2012, so they have muddled along without him for a while in that.

Always tell someone how you feel because opportunities are lost in the blink of an eye but regret can last a lifetime.

Perhaps the most perplexing aspect of AT&T Stadium, otherwise known as “Jerry World,” is the glare from the sun that bursts through the windows and shines directly onto the field. Time and time again the glare has impacted players’ visibility during games, yet Jerry Jones refuses to make any changes to account for the sun.

Rather than install curtains, Jones has previously said he feels it’s a home-field advantage to have that type of stadium factor impacting games. Well, the glare ended up benefitting the Chiefs early into Thursday’s Thanksgiving game, as a pass from Dak Prescott to George Pickens fell incomplete, at least in part due to the impact of the sun’s glare.

SerenaThis batting performance by the West Indies in the second innings blew me away. I kept closing my eyes and then rubbing and opening them again and sat transfixed as I watch that unbelievable partnership between John Campbell and Shai Hope. What a magnificent performance by these two! It just goes to show that patience, determination and effort can go a long way to improve the performances of the West Indies team. Let us hope that this effort by West Indies batsmen would not be a one-off performance, but will be the beginning of a renewed effort to improve the performances of the team, going forward.(13.10.2025, 09:28)(09:28)0

"As a competitor, you want to be the starter. But I prepare to be the starter, I know I'm a starter in this league.

But you have to be able to be grateful for your role...my role right now is to assist Russ and Jaxson to be the best that they can be while preparing to be the best that I can be.
