Head Coach! How Many Voices Up in There?

as I look at this west indies side and the Kiwi 95 for 2 at lunch.. it strikes me that this is a Gibson/buttsy side and that Ramdin had nutten to do with it.

Curtly Ambrose also appears to have had input and his might have been the strongest voice for tall Holder over 6'2" Gabe..no short man himself.

Ramdin's voice I suspect was non-existent.  a side was pik and given to him to captain on the field.

this is not going to work at all.  the captain must be the main voice in the selection.  crap is going on at the wicb as usual.  a lot of cooks in the spoiling the soup.

again.. there was a time when Gibson kept all the legends out and lorded over the team.  now he has them all over the team, may of them, lots of voices.  there is no friggin middle ground with Gibson..feast or famine.  and then again look at the legendary voices he has incorporated...the worst, most lackey voices of that old mix Richardson, Ambrose..the lot

at the centre of all this is the bureaucracy that is animated not by west indian nationalist ideology which would have seen them right but by bureaucratic survivalist and expansionary theory.  they dont really care about the cricket as long as it survives in some form around which the administration can live.. to justify their big jobs

I really dont see how cricket can work with a head coach.....

he mucks up the works..he creates a disconnect between the captain and the game.  only if the captain is in charge can the game get tight, excellent on the field..the selections relevant.....

the captain must be in charge or the game gets slack.
