Removing Non Performing captains- Bravo & Sammy perhaps don`t tantamount to Victimization. Ofcourse Ramadin was slowly getting into the job & improved his batting as captain & should be retained as captain of the test team. Strongly recommend Dinesh as captain of all the three teams- test,ODI & T20

Spokesman Sanjay Patel said: "We have sent a demand letter to the WICB claiming damages to the tune of Rs.258 crore (USD41.97 million). And we are in the process of ascertaining other damages incurred by our hosting centres, after which we will present a final claim amount.

"It is a matter of consideration for the WICB to decide as to how they will cover our damages.

"Abandoning the tour is a unilateral decision of the WICB and they are solely responsible for this entire episode. There has been a direct and disastrous impact.

"Other than the financial losses, the collateral damage that has been caused to the BCCI and its stakeholders is irreparable."

He added that they wouldn't involved the ICC unless it became required: "This is a bilateral issue between BCCI and WICB. We will approach the ICC as and when the situation so demands."

Well post or not, as the thoughts had crossed my mind....many years ago, the incompetence will always continue.

My view is to outsoutrce the entire business function with clear briefs, retain a local President and rationalise the Committes along the lines of the Wilkins' report!

This should be done for 10 years with a view of reintroducing local 'control' thereafter subject to conditions.....

Tagenarine Chanderpaul has been ruled out of the second test between the West Indies and New Zealand due to a side strain.

Chanderpaul suffered the injury while playing a shot in the nets on Tuesday.

SerenaThis batting performance by the West Indies in the second innings blew me away. I kept closing my eyes and then rubbing and opening them again and sat transfixed as I watch that unbelievable partnership between John Campbell and Shai Hope. What a magnificent performance by these two! It just goes to show that patience, determination and effort can go a long way to improve the performances of the West Indies team.
