Red Force Captain and Final Squad

Emrit appointed T&T captain

THE Executive Committee of the Trinidad and Tobago Cricket Boar (T&TCB) has accepted the recommendation of the National Selectors to appoint Rayad Emrit and Jason Mohammed as captain and vice captain respectively of the Red Force for the 2014/15 WICB's Professional Cricket League.
Manager of the team will be Manohar Ramsaran.

The team for the first two matches is as follows:

The Red Force will bowl off its campaign on Friday, November 14, 2014 when they host Barbados at the Queen’s Park Oval in Port-of-Spain.

To avoid conflict between Trinis : Sarwan should have been offered Captain !  ;D

I'm pleased with the final squad that was selected. With Ramdin being part of the team it's understandable that Pooran wouldn't start now but he will get a run in the tournament soon for sure.

The whole issue about captain was never an issue for me..Emrit captained the side very well last year and we placed second, and Ramdin is the WI Test captain..either of them would have been fine. Since both are in the squad all the better for Red Force. Evin Lewis, Akeal Hosein and Yanni Cariah are on fire and Shannon Gabriel coming back from mashing up with West Indies A team in Sri Lanka..everyone else had a good practice trials.

Sarwan only played two practice games and didn't do so well but I'm not going to judge the man on two practice games..that is what they are for..for practice. He is a quality player and I'm sure he'll shine.

Will be at the oval this weekend to take in the action. Should be a good game. All the best Red Force.

Wow, another IMRAN KHAN.

That Imran Khan, a couple seasons ago, was teh bright spark with a great bowling SR and a very good batsman with a FC century to his name.

He seems to have fallen away quite a bit.

I think Pooran can play as a pure batsman but I do not know this crop of players well enough to suggest who he should have replaced.

Good luch to the PCL and hope this allows all your best players to play at any given point.
