It's up to the Tiger---if he regains his confidence---if he still believes in his ability----he'll deliver a hundred soon.

* And the reality is Shiv has played in 163 tests. He has scored 11,842 runs at an average of 51.71 with 30 hundreds and 66 fifties.


* Read that again Ramo---that's REALITY!

*Now!  If Shiv never scores another hundred in test cricket he'll still be among the 11 batsmen in history who have scored 30 test hundreds.

* Also if Shiv never scores another run---only 6 batsmen in history would have scored more runs than he has.

The extraordinary WI great Brian Charles Lara will be celebrating his 46th birthday on Saturday May 2nd 2015.

On that day 41 year old Shiv will be playing in his 164 test ---"Ordinary" Shiv(11842) needs 112 runs to surpass Extraordinary great Lara(11953) as the highest runs scorer for the West Indies.

Many West Indians---not Lara, of course, are hoping and praying for Shiv to never surpass Lara.

In the estimation of those poor souls----Ordinary Shiv is not West Indian enough to stand at the top of the mountain ahead of extraordinary greats Lara, Richards and Sobers.

* Try scoring some runs for Lara on his birthday.

* Lemme be blunt! Shiv is batting like he is shyt scared of holding that record(11954)---and it reflects in his batting approach.

* Anyway, If Shiv were to miraculously go past 11953 in the Barbados test----you will see a more confident Shiv at the wicket after that---he'll be back to his old self---scoring runs CONSISTENTLY.
