he is a kid who does very boyish, unsophisticated things at the crease which does not give confidence about his maturity..the wicket is tuff to bat on, wickets are falling all around, some irresponsible batting from the tail and this kid is supposed to correct all that farming the bowling ::confused::

he did really well to realize the state of the game and wicket and played the only game that would work..lash the ball.....making sure to connect hard every time...

Shiv played that role most of his career , starting as a 19 year old debutant !  ::LOL::
