Andre Fletcher arrested for possessing ammunition: Report

Andre Fletcher was arrested at Douglas Charles Airport in Dominica on Thursday (May 28) for possession of ammunition, reported the Dominica News Online, which added that the West Indian cricketer would be making a court appearance for the offence on Friday.

Fletcher, the wicketkeeper-batsman from the Windward Islands, was on his way out of Dominica when he was apprehended. According to sources speaking to the newspaper, 50 rounds of ammunition were found in Fletcher's possession.

Lockhart Sebastien, the manager of the Windward Islands Volcanoes, has extended his support to Fletcher: "I will support him, I will not abandon him ... that is the job of a manager."
