May 27, 2015 — I must start off by thanking your for your tremendous support on this. It is certain that as cricket supporters we all are connected by our love and passion for the game. So far we have achieved 2000+ signatures on this petition. I am confident that this much persons will not be attending the matches. However, we need to continue rallying and getting support for this post.
It is distasteful that the WICB and WI selectors are not going back on their decision as yet. They are behaving as they alone are entitled to opinions. WI ARE THE GAME! OUR SAY MUST COUNT. WE WANT SHIV!
So please ask everyone you know to sign this and share it on cricket pages and let them know we will not be stopped. We love the game and we respect our cricketers and refuse to see them being treated in a disrespectful manner.
Even the Great Brian Lara is saying let Shiv play.
COME ON WEST INDIES CRICKET BOARD! GIVE THE WEST INDIANS WHAT WE DESERVE AND DESIRE.

lol, this is so rediculous.

1. Shiv says he aint retiring.

2. WICB says Shiv should have the proper retirement send off.

3. Selectors say Shiv aint good enuf for the Australia games and should have announced his retirement after England.

4. Fans say Shiv should be given a proper send off.

So Shiv aint announcing his retirement, doesn't want to retire, but should be given a game in which he doesnt announce his retirement, to retire. That's some kind of ingenious paradox.

The West Indies selectors should have allowed Chanderpaul to play the final two matches against Australia but this is the level of respect they have for great WI players and therefore I am not surprised about this. Chanderpaul should just retire from international cricket and stop taking this kind of disrespect.
