Michael Yardy, the Sussex allrounder who was a member of the England team that won the 2010 World Twenty20 in the West Indies, has announced his retirement from the game at the end of the ongoing domestic season.
Yardy, 34, won 42 caps across both limited-overs formats, but did not play for England for too long after the 2010 World T20, cutting short his time with the squad at the 2011 World Cup in the Indian subcontinent because of depression.
