Former West Indies, Guyana and Georgetown Cricket Club (GCC) player Carl Hooper was yesterday honoured for his contribution to the club as well as to the overall development to Guyana’s cricket.

Hooper, current coach of the Guyana Amazon Warriors was last evening

given a plaque and a gold pendant of the club’s emblem during a simple ceremony at the Guyana National Stadium, Providence, prior to last night’s showdown with the Trinidad and Tobago Red Steel.
