Concept of day-night Tests

I feel day-night Tests will really give a new lease of life to cricket, which is having a tough time competing with other sports. Test cricket desperately needed this in order to be protected from the threats emanating from shorter versions of the game. Test cricket is the ultimate platform for testing a cricketer's prowess and talent, and so, cricket administrators must be lauded for taking such an initiative. The Adelaide Oval stadium was jam-packed during the first day-night Test between Australia and New Zealand, indicating that audience are still ready to overwhelmingly support Tests, provided it is tweaked or customized to their interests. Let's hope the day-night culture of Tests would spread far and wide with the passage of time.
