My research indicates this was the first time West Indies debuted three or more players in an ODI since the July 2009 defeat against Bangladesh at Roseau when Dowlin, Pascal and Richards were given their first caps.

In a winning effort  ? 

Last time West Indies debuted three or more players in a winning effort was in 2008 against Bermuda. Johnson, Nash and Roach were all handed debuts in a six wicket win.

Bacchus is one of only 7 players to have been dismissed via hit by wicket on multiple occasions. The second instance came in 1980 against Pakistan. That match is probably best remembered for Greenidge scrambling 3 off the last ball to secure a 4 wicket win, although it wasn't without its consequences as Greenidge injured his back in the process.

Other batsman to have been dismissed via hit by wicket on multiple occasions in ODIs are AR Border (Aus), SL Campbell (WI), RS Kaluwitharana (SL), Misbah-ul-Haq (PAK), MO Odumbe (Kenya) and KC Sangakkara (SL).

RIP Richard Austin a fine cricketer who could have been great but for the tour to South Africa which ruined him and others like Chang etc.
