L Simmons the player of match

Yesterday Mumbai score more than 200 and won the match. The player of match was L Simmons because of his really good batting. He started slowly but after two or three over he started hitting and score 66 in 43 balls. It was awesome hitting by him. I will watch him in next matches.

I had been ranting and raving about the inadequacies of The West Indies Test team as it relates to giving the opposition any real challenge because its players seem to lack the qualities and skills to be really competitive. At the same time, even though I had been berating them I am always hoping that there would be a turnaround in their performances. I am happy that they have come up with a stunner to defeat the Pakistanis. I will bask in the little bit of glory and hope they don't immediately revert to their old ways. A little continuation in the same vein is would very much be welcomed.
