There has been much talk about the need to prepare pitches across the Caribbean which will provide bounce and pace. But, on the evidence of the current regional domestic first-class season, it's been mostly empty talk.

zacaroni, seeing Guyana 4 times champs do NOT have the better players;
think they should just refuse to play the other 2 rounds and just go back to GT ?

since they have NOT lost a single match in 8 out of 10 rounds ~

give the 2 LOSER team with your BETTER players the points ?
so they can be selected by corruption not merit.....to the International squad ...

The West Indies recently concluded disastrous and humiliating tour of New Zealand
reconfirmed its weakening Test and ODI status
and even more alarmingly highlighted emerging fissures and cracks in its T20 performance.

After losing 3-0 in both the 5 day Test and one-day LO series
the WI were unable to salvage any pride
LOSING by 47 runs and then 119 runs with one match being washed out.

A number of people in Australia didn't think they should have been selected since they were given quite a few opportunities before and failed to cement their places.

Like you zac, they are unable to see the light !
