The innings began in unusual fashion :

with Guyana opener Chanderpaul Hemraj retiring hurt without facing a ball.

With Hemraj fit to bat lower down : West Indies A eventually scored 272

and the Guyana batsman score of 12 runs : was enough to WIN by 5 runs !
