Marlon Samuels, the Windies batsman, received a warning and one demerit point after being charged with a Level 1 Breach of the ICC Code of Conduct for Players and Player Support Personnel during the World Cup Qualifiers game played between Windies and Zimbabwe in Harare, on Monday (March 19).

The veteran was found to have violated Article 2.1.8 of the code which pertains to "abuse of cricket equipment or clothing, ground equipment or fixtures and fittings during an international match".
