BCCI vs PCB : India ~ Pakistan match up

The BCCI and the PCB's dispute over two unplayed bilateral series moved a step forward
after the ICC constituted a three-man dispute panel four months after Pakistan decided
to take the legal route in pursuit of its resolution

"We did try to talk to them in meetings but never got a response so our patience ran out,"
Najam Sethi, the head of the PCB's executive committee, said at the same press conference.
"So in the recent meeting we had intimated them that if it won't go ahead
we have no other option but to move on ... enough is enough.
When I signed the agreement I gave a roughly-estimated figure that these four series
are going to fetch us $150-200 million, so we are suffering huge losses."

ICC recently awarded six points to the Pakistan women's team after the BCCI failed
to establish "acceptable reasons" for not participating in the planned bilateral series
which was a part of the ICC Women's Championship.

India's refusal to play has cost the PCB
according to the board's estimate, over $80 million
in terms of broadcasting and other commercial deals.

The ICC has set October 1-3

for the hearing on the PCB's dispute with the BCCI

and the decision of the three person panel will be final ~
