ESPNcricinfo understand Cricket West Indies (CWI) will submit the 15-man squad to the ICC on Tuesday, but will announce the squad only on Wednesday afternoon in Barbados (1.30 pm local time).

Cricket West Indies director of cricket Jimmy Adams, interim chairman of the CWI selection panel Robert Haynes
and interim West Indies head coach Floyd Reifer will be available to speak to the Media from 1:30 pm
(East Caribbean Time) on Wednesday, April 24, in the Royal Ballroom of the Sandals Grand Resort in Barbados,
following the submission to the ICC of the West Indies preliminary 15-member squad
for the Cricket World Cup 2019 England & Wales.

In my view, parochialism and insularity among the fans constitute an obstacle standing in the way of cricketing progress in the region. Insularity in the media, however, is an insurmountable barrier to the region’s cricketing success. In all their communications, Messrs Skerritt, Kishore Shallow, Robert Haynes, Jimmy Adams and Floyd Reifer need to remain constantly conscious of the real informational needs of those whose consistent support they desire.
