Even though India beat West Indies in both T20Is in Florida on the field, it was a victory for @windiescricket off the field. Estimated gate revenue generated for ticket sales per day for sold out capacity which was officially capped at 10,620 people was US$2.2 million per match.

We could have Rajendra Chandrika opening for us in T20is and the Indian crowds will still come to watch in USA, the main thing for them is to see India play live not West Indies

All that said I'm still old enough to remember Dave Cameron & his cronies at WICB labelling Gayle, Pollard, Bravo, Narine etc as mercenaries.

The Caribbean fell for it hook, line and sinker.

All we had to do was adapt to the market back then instead we hastened the departure.
