I have read of Nations, especially in the Third World, being raped ....... that is, of their Natural Resources. This is well known today.

But, I have never read of Nations being raped when " development projects " were being contemplated and executed. The exception is Guyana today. The recent discovery of huge Deposits in the Janet Jagan Oilfields off Guyana's Atlantic Coast.

Whales, Sharks and other big Fish usually swim away from Oilfields, but we see the human sharks flocking to Guyana in a feeding frenzy.

Yes, the government is right and must ensure that no one Company gets the Lion's share of our Oil Money.
