Excellent player but may need to give up ODIs as 2011-12 only averaged 37 and 32 with bat.

Maybe quite high by some standards but by his, very poor.

Tendy is a special case..in which the indian board scored heavy propaganda and financial  points allowing him to seemingly do it as he wanted. 

and then only just because Tendy had accumulated all the records, set unprecedented standards unlikely to be broken..and the Indian people as a whole were with him in every way.  the Indian  board had to tread carefully

but in the end  if Tendy did not move he wud have been pushed.  we all knew how it would be had Tendy not chosen his time of departure judiciously.  he did not really have carte blanche to stay as long as he wanted to..so this choosing his own time must be seen for what it is.  he cud choose his own time but we knew the hour it had to be ::LOL:: ::LOL:: ::LOL:: ::LOL::
