The sacrifice

Andre Fletcher and Denesh Ramdin had a busy partnership going when Fletcher drove to deep cover

in the 18th over and set off for a run. He seemed content with one but Ramdin wasn't.

He returned for the second, but with Fletcher unresponsive both batsmen were at the non-striker's end.

Ramdin began to turn around but Fletcher held up his hand and walked out of the crease to

sacrifice his wicket.

Ramdin repaid the gesture by scoring 55 off 31 balls.  8)

Neesham to Fletcher, 1 run, shortish length which is hit over the covers, with sweeper cover picking up

the ball to throw it at the striker's. There  is confusion as Ramdin goes down  to the other end,

but Fletcher is guilty of ball watching as he ends up hanging around,

with both batsmen now at the non-striker's.

Fletcher gestures apologetically to Ramdin, and walks off to the pavilion.

Seemed the only way to break this partnership  :-[
