simply beautiful, now if only the state wasn't so racist, it would be perfect...
HEY!
Everywhere in America there is racism. Do you know of anywhere it isn't racism in these United States.
When I was a young woman I travel throughout New England. Maine, Vermont, and New Hampshire may have a population of 1% African Americans in each state, and there are racist people in each of those states. Yet, there were numerous people who wereย welcoming and pleasant to be around.

It isn't easy traveling from Detroit to the Upper Peninsula. This is the time of year that the Mackinac Island, pronounced MACK-IN-NAW, opens for tourism. It also costs so much money.
I would rather forego the Upper Peninsula and visit Virginia Beach. It is welcoming, pleasant, and affordable. I also see a lot of people visiting who look like me strolling along the Beach. Additionally, there are a lot of Black owned restaurants there.

Holy crap! I didn't know these waterfalls existed in Michigan. I plan to travel near that area later in the year. I love nature so much and waterfalls have always captivated me. These pictures are gorgeous to look at. In my town there are no places remotely similar to the pictures shown in Peninsula, Michigan. I have to travel almost out of the city, way near the southern part of Missouri just to see a glimpse of nature's beauty. That sucks a lot, but travelling makes up for any lack of splendid landscapes in my area. :-))
