TV presenter assaulted for showing too much skin

A TV presenter in India was assaulted by an audience member who thought her clothes weren’t covering up enough skin.

A video taken right after the alleged smack on the program "Raw Star" shows actress Gauhar Khan crying and a man walking away with his arm raised.

Akil Malik, 24, was arrested and charged with molestation.

“Being a Muslim woman, she should not have worn such a short dress,” he reportedly said.

Khan was presenting an award on "Raw Star," which she did later on the show, despite the alleged attack.

Khan is a model turned actress with several big and small screen credits under her belt.
