they are saying that bautistas slide was illegal....how the hell does one player know or how does he position himself to slide into the base without hurting the baseman???


the only thing of concern is getting the base.  if you want to stand there and defend your base...well do so and tek some licks while your at it - but dont complain that the slide is illegal.
