Aishwaria (SP) is gorgeous and very intelligent. She deserved her win and justifies daily the claim of her being the most beautiful woman in the world.
I don' think it is fair, however, to compare her to Shakira Baksh in the context of the Miss World/Universe contests.
Shakira portrayed natural beauty while Ash had a lot of help re costumes, makeup, lighting etc. Can you imagine how Shakira would have wowed audiences worldwide if she had those at her disposal and made use of them?
As for Nalini Monassar, her skin tone and glossy hair were again completely natural. No colour changes or highlighting. Just beautiful, long black glossy hair.

shes had that to her disposal - there are many pics of her made up for some movie she did and other photo shoots.

im not speaking of when she was in the pageant - after she married and moved to england she did take photos and was in some movie....there were ppl to dress her up and make her up.
