...the Jamaican population among whom the boycott is developing. they are who is important in the issue. treat them as adults and explain the situation to them.
along with conciliatory treatment of the 13...that should nip the boycott in the bud, and establish a sounder basis of dealing with similar issue if and when they arise

ease up! calm down! you are missing my point! I am not talking about the 15 or 17 thousand. I am talking about the Jamaican population as a whole who are or maybe in the process of starting a destructive boycott.
how to stop that is what I am trying to answer
in the end you going to have to have a nation of the west indian people.....Indos, Afros, White, Chinese, Mixed..everybody. I dont expect that we will stay as hungry, in hate of each other, illegal immigrants etc unemployed and suffering forever.
at some point we are going to have to transform ourselves into a developing entity of worth.
you have to bear that in mind...that that is a worthwhile and progressive goal..indeed the only way the region has to go

when I read stuff like this I think of fish bowl mentalities.....
and two feeling sorry for themselves victim types..chairman and Chin get together. this board should be completely washed down in while...prolly all that tears may be good for.
sorry to hear about your family chin. that is horrible in any and and all such instances and leaves heavy scars on victims. but the world is replete in such experience. this is human life and experience and while subjectivities like Chairman's and Chin's flow like the Corentyne, that does not mean they represent valid and usable representations of historical experience..just heart felt subjective experience that lack all objectivity, are biased and do not help at all in the resolution of any thing.
if by Chins conception we write of the west indies then line up the nations and the races..[ethnic groups of the human species] to be written off for such sin. Jamaica, west indies nor Africans will not find themselves first in line if quantity and quality of such sin is the criteria by which all are judged and listed for execution..or writing off.
the quantity of sin humanity is responsible for is huge but not to be equally shared among the nations and people. so despite Chins loss he should be mindful of human history and the question of guilt and the judgemental principles his mind spins on..less he get hoisted on his own tender hook!
